Hey Pretty Girl! You are slayyyyin!!! Let’s get into how to care for these Just Good bundles. Hair is an investment especially when you have invested in our premium raw hair. To get the best quality out of your hair you have to TAKE CARE OF IT.

Remember, this hair is pure, raw, unprocessed hair, therefore, you will need to ensure that you perform proper maintenance. We have tested multiple hair products and brands to make caring for your Just Good Hair easier. Always remember to show your Just Good Hair bundles love, attention, and care to extend the longevity of the hair.

Once you receive your hair. Please know that the hair has been co-washed prior to leaving our studio located in our warehouse. Prior to installing your hair, please wash the hair leaving the zip ties intact. Please inspect your bundles, wig, and or unit to detect any abnormalities and notify us immediately if any are found.

After or during the washing process you may experience a few loose hairs during the initial brush out. This is completely normal and is due to the wefting process. Keep in mind, that you will have no to minimal shedding each day while following your hair care routine, and this is NORMAL. As you continue to wear and care for Just Good Hair, it will get better with time just like fine wine!

Please Do the Following:

  • Co-wash your Just Good Hair with cold water with a conditioner on a weekly basis and let air dry. Do not massage hair to avoid frizz. Detangle each section as much as possible using a wide-tooth comb working from roots to tips. Saturate hair completely with water. We recommend Aussie Moist Conditioner.
  • Wash your Just Good Hair with shampoo every two weeks to remove and prevent product build-up. We recommend Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo.
  • To avoid tangling, brush the extensions from bottom to top.
  • Always keep Just Good Hair wrapped in a silk or satin scarf to keep the hair from frizzing, tangling, and to help with shedding.
  • If applying heat (blow dryer, flat iron, curlers, and or straighten comb) to Just Good Hair use a heat protectant product before applying heat to the hair.
  • To assist with frizz, we recommend BioSilk Silk Therapy treatment. Apply a dime-sized amount to the palm of your hands and distribute prior to styling. After styling, use a small amount to control frizz and static electricity.
  • Your hair is a great investment and should be taken care of properly to extend the longevity of the hair. With proper care, this hair will last over four years.

Please do not do the following:

  • Do not sleep in wet or damp extensions as this will cause an odor and possibly mildew.
  • Do not scrunch up the extensions when co-washing or shampooing as this will cause tangling and shedding.
  • Do not scratch or pull at the lace on your unit(wig) or install (sew-in). The lace is thin and delicate and this will cause holes and tearing.
  • Do not use a fine-tooth or small comb when combing Just Good Hair. Either use a Denman brush or a wide-tooth comb.
  • Do not apply heat directly to the lace closure. This can cause burns and heat damage.
  • Do not color, lighten, cut the hair or lace closure without consulting with a licensed professional.
  • We advised against cutting the weft unless it is absolutely necessary, as cutting the wefts can cause excessive shedding. In the event, the hair has to be cut we recommend using a high-quality weft sealant to seal the wefts.
  • We recommend consulting a licensed professional to have the hair installed. Additionally, if the hair is going to be bleached, dyed, or colored we highly suggest consulting with a professional to ensure the hair doesn’t get over-processed.
